Hi, I am Rachel - Founder of Rē Candle Sand. I am a busy mum of two, a nurse and a teacher.

The idea for Rē Candle Sand was reignited on a weekend getaway — nestled in the warmth of a candlelit wine bar.

There’s something about being surrounded by candlelight — for me, it evokes a sense of self-care, quality time with family,  quiet mornings alone and dinners shared with friends. I feel as though these small rituals help us romanticise the everyday. It makes me feel joyful and brings a deeper sense of calm into my spaces.

Rē Candle Sand was created with this in mind. Its unique, sand-like texture means it can be poured into any vessel. Traditional candles are beautiful, but once they burn down, what are you meant to do with the jar? I hated the idea of tossing them, especially the really special ones. Rē Candle Sand solves that. You can refill and relight over and over again, choosing your scent, your vessel, and your moment —from repurposed luxury candle jars to the unexpected treasures hiding in your home. It turns everyday objects into something meaningful — and lets you create little rituals that make your home feel more you. 

Our fragrance oils have been thoughtfully selected, inspired by some of the luxury candle brands we all know and love—You don’t have to throw away those candles, but can now reuse and recreate spaces that feel indulgent, elevated, and uniquely yours.
